An ambulance carrying a patient fell into the Trishuli River, injuring five people and seriously injuring one.

Five persons were injured when an ambulance carrying a patient from Kathmandu to Sarlahi fell into the Trishuli River this morning. Five persons were injured when an ambulance (Na 5 Cha 1033) fell into the Trishuli River 50 meters below the road. Chief of the District Police Office, Chitwan, Nanti Raj Gurung informed that an ambulance fell into the Trishuli River at 5:15 am from Ichchakamana Goupalika-3 Panidhara on the Prithvi Highway.

Police team from Fisling rescued the injured and sent them to Bharatpur. He is undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.
