Government Holiday to celebrate Bakr Eid (Eid al-Adha)



The second great festival of Muslims, Bakr Eid (Eid al-Adha) is being celebrated in mosques across the country today. There is a religious ritual to celebrate Eid, the 70th day of Ramadan.

Muslims take a bath this morning and go to a nearby mosque or idgah to offer collective prayers. After the prayers, good wishes are exchanged.
