Current City chairman of Bharatpur Municipal Corporation of Chitwan Renu Dahal has step down from the post.

She submitted her resignation on Friday to run for the top post in the the local election.

Dy. Mayor of Bharatpur Parvati Shah Thakuri informed that Dahal’s abdication has been endorsed.

Dahal surrendered to stand again as mayor in the election on May 13.
